December 30, 2011. Last month we said nothing was blooming, but keep an eye out for 'Autumnalis Rosea' blossoms. Cherry Scouts Dingren and Martin have found them in Richmond, photo from today, December 30, 2011. Our Cherry Viewing Map can show you where to look for more of these. The blossoms are very tiny - easy to miss unless you're looking closely.

If you see something that's really a shrub with lots of thin trunks and clusters of fragrant tiny pink flowers, those are Viburnum bodnantense, not the cherries you're looking for.
