Haiku Inspired Projects

Every year, Haiku Invitational submissions inspire new programs touching different audiences through art and design.

The Federation of Canadian Artists, in support of the Festival's Haiku Invitational has created a special art show, Haiku Inspirations, from April 12th to May 1st, 2011.  It is an open invitation to all to submit up to three paintings to celebrating the beauty of cherry blossoms, and inspired by one of the 23 pre-selected award-winning haiku.  This is a unique opportunity for artists specializing in painting, printmaking, and drawing media to display their talents.  The deadline for this international juried exhibition is March 10th, 2011!  For more information about Haiku Inspirations, follow the links to the Federation of Canadian Artists, prospectus, and be inspired by our winning poems!
