2009 Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Haiku Invitational

We are excited about receiving your haiku in honour of Vancouver's cherry blossoms and the arrival of spring! Please complete the form below to submit your haiku to the 2008 Haiku Invitational. Any person may submit one original, unpublished haiku in English and must agree to all terms of the Invitational. Submissions must be received by December 19, 2008. Watch the website for the announcement of winners in February, 2009. If you have any questions in regards to our submission form or experience any difficulties, please contact us.

Submission Requirements

Poems previously submitted for the Haiku Invitational are not eligible for resubmission.

Submission of more than one poem per person will disqualify all poems by that person, at the discretion of the Haiku Invitational committee. If you have questions or problems, please contact us.

Rights Granted

By submitting a haiku, I agree that the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival may use the haiku without compensation but with attribution to the author for the purposes of the festival, including but not limited to any display, publication, and public reading or performance of the work in its original form. All other rights are retained by the author.
